Porto Grande is Mindelo’s deep natural harbour on São Vicente, in a semicircular bay about 2 km in radius. CV Interilhas ferries leave here for Santo Antão twice daily and for São Nicolau, Sal, Boa Vista and Praia on the Linha Redonda.

Two round trips daily. 11 Oct – 24 Nov 2026: Mindelo 08:00 and 15:00 (Sundays 09:00 and 17:00); 25 Nov 2026 – 7 Jan 2027: Mindelo 07:00 and 14:00 (Sundays 09:00 and 17:00)

On alternate weeks an extra Linha Redonda/Retangular rotation also calls at Fogo.
