About FerryConnect
FerryConnect is an independent guide to ferry travel. We map sea, island, river and lake crossings around the world and explain how each journey works: which ports you sail from, who operates the route, roughly how long it takes, whether you can bring a car or a pet, and how to get onward at the other end.
How we research routes
Each route page is compiled from operators’ published route information, port authority guidance and transport-network sources. We only publish pages for services that genuinely operate. Crossing times and frequencies are shown as typical ranges. Timetables change by season and operators adjust sailings at short notice, so always confirm times and fares with the operator or booking partner before you travel. Read our full verification methodology.

How FerryConnect is funded
FerryConnect is free to use. Some links to ferry booking sites, hotels, car hire, eSIMs and tours are affiliate links: if you book through them we may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. Affiliate relationships never decide which routes or operators we list, and we link to operators’ own websites where no partner covers a route.
