Krom Luang Pier at Laem Ngop, beside the naval monument at the end of the Laem Ngop road, is the mainland pier for the local speedboats to Koh Mak. It is separate from the Ao Thammachat and Centrepoint car-ferry piers for Koh Chang, which are about 5 km back towards Trat.
