Port of Heraklion
Crete’s main ferry port, beside Heraklion’s Venetian harbour. Overnight ferries run from Piraeus (Minoan Lines; ANEK/Hellenic Seaways with Asterion II and Nissos Rodos, which also call at Serifos). There are seasonal links to Milos and Santorini, and Blue Star’s island line to Sitia and the Dodecanese.

Souda Port (Chania)
Souda, on Souda Bay east of Chania, is the ferry port for western Crete. ANEK ferries leave from Piraeus gate E3, and the Kissamos also runs Piraeus – Milos – Chania.

Port of Sitia
The port of Sitia in north-east Crete (Lasithi). Up to two ferries a week run from Piraeus gate E1 (from 15h 25m) via Santorini, Anafi and Heraklion, continuing to Kasos, Karpathos and Rhodes.
