Waxholmsbolaget Ferries
Waxholmsbolaget runs the public archipelago boats of the Stockholm region, from Strömkajen in central Stockholm and mainland piers such as Stavsnäs, Årsta brygga and Ankarudden out to islands including Vaxholm, Sandhamn, Utö and Landsort. Its classic steamers Storskär, Norrskär and Västan sail to Vaxholm in the summer season.

Many departures a day in summer and several a day the rest of the year; most Waxholmsbolaget boats to the central and northern archipelago pass Vaxholm
In early summer, summer and late summer the classic steamers Storskär, Norrskär and Västan also sail to Vaxholm.

- Stavsnäs → Sandhamn
Five or six departures a day from Stavsnäs on weekdays (Monday–Thursday: 07:00, 09:45, 14:45, 16:40, 18:15 and a late-evening boat), with a similar number at weekends
Timetable valid 17 August – 12 December 2026; in summer extra boats run to Sandhamn from Strömkajen and on the North/South line.

- Årsta brygga → Utö
About six departures a day from Årsta brygga on weekdays in autumn 2026 (08:25, 11:00, 13:00, 15:55, 17:55, 20:35), rising to seven or eight a day in summer
Timetable valid 17 August – 12 December 2026; in summer there are also boats all the way from Stockholm and the North/South line calls at Utö.

Three or four departures a day from Ankarudden: Monday–Thursday 07:10, 09:55, 16:40 and 19:40 (the last on request)
