SONOTRAK, founded on 1 July 1976, runs the car ferries between Sfax and the Kerkennah archipelago, carrying passengers, cars, trucks and goods. Its fleet includes the Habib Achour (in service since 2017, 800 passengers and 172 vehicles), the Cercina and the Loud Tunisie.
