Compagnie Vendéenne, created in 1999 and part of the Compagnie Interîles group, runs passenger boats to Port-Joinville on the Île d’Yeu from Fromentine (45 minutes), Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie (60 minutes) and Barbâtre on Noirmoutier (75 minutes).
