Major International Sea Passages
Cross-border high-capacity passenger, vehicle, and freight highways
Gdynia â Karlskrona
Gdynia Stena Line Ferry Terminal to Karlskrona Verkö Ferry Terminal
Stena Lineâs GdyniaâKarlskrona line joins the Tricity area of GdaĆsk, Gdynia and Sopot with the naval city of Karlskrona in Blekinge. With up to three sailings a day on large ships such as Stena Estelle and Stena Ebba, it is the busiest PolandâSweden ferry route.
GdaĆsk â NynĂ€shamn
GdaĆsk Westerplatte Ferry Terminal to NynĂ€shamn Ferry Terminal
The GdaĆskâNynĂ€shamn ferry is the only direct ship between northern Poland and the Stockholm region, arriving in NynĂ€shamn about 60 km south of the Swedish capital. It leaves GdaĆskâs historic Westerplatte peninsula in the evening and docks around midday.
GdaĆsk â Karlshamn
GdaĆsk Westerplatte Ferry Terminal to Karlshamn Ferry Terminal (Stilleryd)
POLSCA opened GdaĆskâKarlshamn in July 2026, giving GdaĆsk a second Swedish link alongside NynĂ€shamn and landing in Blekinge close to the E22. Skania carries most passengers, with the freight-focused Copernicus also on the line.
ĆwinoujĆcie â Ystad
ĆwinoujĆcie Ferry Terminal to Port of Ystad
ĆwinoujĆcieâYstad is the main ferry corridor between western Poland (and Berlin) and southern Sweden, now sold jointly by Polferries and Unity Line under the POLSCA brand. POLSCA also sells through-tickets to Copenhagen via Ystad that include the Ăresund Bridge for car passengers.
ĆwinoujĆcie â Trelleborg
ĆwinoujĆcie Ferry Terminal to Port of Trelleborg
ĆwinoujĆcieâTrelleborg is a heavily freighted PolandâSweden route served by both TT-Line and POLSCA, with sailings timed so drivers can cross overnight and arrive in SkĂ„ne early in the morning. ĆwinoujĆcie sits right on the German border, on the island of Usedomâs eastern end.
ĆwinoujĆcie â Malmö
ĆwinoujĆcie Euro Terminal (Finnlines) to Malmö Norra Hamnen (Finnlines)
Finnlinesâ ĆwinoujĆcieâMalmö ferry lands directly in Malmö rather than Ystad or Trelleborg, handy for drivers heading to Copenhagen or up the Swedish west coast. It sails overnight from Poland and by day from Sweden.
